About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Scientist in Computational Protein Science to join our multidisciplinary research team focused on next-generation protein engineering, enzyme discovery, antibody design, and AI-driven modeling. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of computational biology, machine learning, structural bioinformatics, and protein engineering to build large-scale protein sequence-structure-function datasets, develop predictive AI/ML models, and mine novel proteins with targeted biological functions. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Structural Biology, Computer Science, Biophysics, Protein Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong background in protein bioinformatics and computational biology.
  • Experience with machine learning/deep learning applied to biological data.
  • Proficiency in Python and scientific computing libraries.
  • Experience with protein databases and bioinformatics tools.
  • Familiarity with structural biology and protein modeling methods.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build, curate, and analyze large-scale protein sequence, structure, and functional datasets from public and proprietary sources.
  • Develop pipelines for protein annotation, clustering, alignment, and functional prediction.
  • Apply structural modeling tools including AlphaFold, Rosetta, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics simulations.
  • Predict and analyze protein folding, binding interfaces, and structure-function relationships.
  • Perform computational screening and prioritization of candidate proteins for experimental validation.
  • Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to design and validate engineered proteins and biological systems.
  • Apply AI/ML methods for protein de novo design, protein optimization, and function prediction.
  • Present research findings internally and externally through reports, publications, and scientific conferences.
  • Contribute to intellectual property generation, platform development, and scientific publications.
