The Department of Computational Medicine (CBM) is a robust infrastructure established to develop, evaluate, and apply cutting-edge computational and statistical methods and software for the analysis of biomedical and clinical data across the Cedars-Sinai enterprise. The Won Lab uses computational and AI-driven approaches to study complex biological systems. By developing advanced tools and analyzing genome-scale datasets, including single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, the lab investigates gene regulation and cell–cell interactions. Integrating multi-omics data—such as genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and epigenomic information—with contextual features like cell size, neighboring cells, and tissue architecture, the lab seeks to understand how cells function within and respond to their local and global environments. In this role, the Postdoctoral Scientist will be expected to work independently under the direction of Dr. Won and in close cooperation, as well as consultation, with other research staff. As a Postdoctoral Scientist, perform routine and complex laboratory procedures throughout the training period and may develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols.
