About The Position

This position involves designing and executing experiments related to soil/plant microbiomes. The associate will analyze experimental data, write reports, make presentations to group meetings and conferences, prepare manuscripts for publication, and contribute to proposal development. Responsibilities also include mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in the laboratory, developing collaborations on projects, and attending professional development trainings. Other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI) will also be performed.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in relevant disciplines including but not limited to: Environmental Microbiology, Ecology, Molecular / Systems Biology, Genetics / Genomics, Soil Science, Plant Biology, Biochemistry, Biogeochemistry, Ecotoxicology, Biotechnology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Bioinformatics.

Responsibilities
