The Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture at Texas A&M University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Precision Nutrition, focused on metabolism–immunity interactions. The position investigates mechanisms connecting diet to health outcomes by considering genetic, physiological, environmental, and behavioral factors that contribute to individual and population-level variability. The broader goal is to develop personalized, evidence-based nutrition strategies to reduce the risk of diet-related chronic diseases. The researcher will use cutting-edge preclinical models to investigate human-relevant mechanistic questions at the intersection of metabolic regulation, immunometabolism and inflammation, nutrient sensing and signaling, and chronic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, liver disease, and aging-related disorders.
