The project addresses the global burden of malaria and the growing resistance of parasites to standard antimalarial treatments. It uses a pathogen-agnostic messenger RNA (mRNA) platform to develop adaptable anti-infection solutions, with malaria as a benchmark disease model. The research evaluates the immunological efficacy and protective durability of vaccine constructs targeting early-stage infection, with the goal of establishing a modular, rapid-response approach adaptable to other infectious threats. The salary range is $72,000–$82,000. Salary is determined based on factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
