Postdoctoral Fellow

Mass General Brigham•Boston, MA

About The Position

The Song Lab at Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School seeks two postdoctoral researchers for a funded “AI for AD” project. The project uses AI-assisted de novo protein designs to detect and control misfolded protein species in Alzheimer’s disease. The successful candidate will characterize these designs using biochemistry, cell biology, and human tissue and biofluid pathology to advance understanding of approaches to targeting AD-related protein misfolding. The position offers opportunities to develop independent research directions, collaborate with the neurodegeneration team at MGH, and contribute to publications and other research outputs. The position is based at the MassGeneral Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. It has a flexible start date, and funding is available for 2–5 years. Compensation and benefits follow institutional policy. The listed compensation range is $71,750–$81,179, with the final offer considering experience and organizational guidelines and internal equity. Applicants should send a cover letter describing their research interests and fit, a curriculum vitae, and contact information for 3–5 references to Yuyu Song at [email protected], using the subject line “Song Lab Postdoctoral Application.” Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until both positions are filled.
