The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow interested in environmental epidemiology, multi-omics integration, and bioinformatics. The fellow will join a multidisciplinary research team investigating how environmental exposures contribute to the development and progression of head and neck diseases. The research combines large-scale epidemiological data with genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, and metabolomics to examine molecular mechanisms underlying environmental health effects and disease susceptibility. The role is suited to candidates with backgrounds in environmental epidemiology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or biostatistics who want to apply advanced statistical and computational approaches to environmental exposure, molecular mechanism, and disease research. The fellow will have opportunities to lead research projects, develop analytical approaches, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to scientific publications. The position is full-time, located in New York, NY, with a start date in Fall/Winter 2026. The stated annual salary range is $74,692.00–$80,000.00; actual salary depends on factors including experience, education, and operational need.
