About The Position

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine to study the mechanisms underlying liver injury in liver diseases and hepatotoxicity, with a particular emphasis on the role of cholestasis in alcohol-associated liver disease. The research projects focus on the roles and mechanisms of inflammatory mediators and cell death pathways in cholestatic liver disease using mouse models and in vitro cell cultures.

Requirements

  • Ph.D.
  • Experience in molecular biology assays
  • Experience in cell culture
  • Experience in animal experiments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with transcriptomic data analysis
  • Experience with metabolomic data analysis
