About The Position
The Department of Communication at Tulane University is seeking an 18-month Postdoctoral Fellow to be an inaugural affiliate of a new center focused on the future of work. The appointment begins January 5, 2027, and includes a 2-2 teaching load with protected research time and mentorship from departmental faculty. The Fellow will contribute to the center's intellectual groundwork through their scholarly agenda and teaching. The position is ideal for researchers whose work examines the intersection of the future of work with technology, society, politics, and/or culture, utilizing various methodological approaches.

Responsibilities
- Maintain an active research agenda throughout the appointment.

- Advance critical debates on how the future of work intersects with technology, society, politics, and/or culture.
