Working with a faculty adviser, Postdoctoral Fellows will conduct specialized research in one or more areas of Atmospheric Science, including atmospheric chemistry; climate and atmosphere-ocean dynamics; cloud microphysics, severe storms, and mesoscale meteorology; data assimilation, machine learning, and causal discovery; education and human resources; global biogeochemical cycles and ecosystems; and radiation and remote sensing. The research may range from theoretical to applied and involve the use of measurement and/or modeling approaches. This position will also summarize findings and publish research results in journals and present findings at scientific meetings and conferences. The department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals who are interested in obtaining postdoctoral fellow positions within the department. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding.
