About The Position

The University of Colorado Anschutz Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Critical Care, seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow for a research program investigating the mechanistic drivers of pulmonary hypertension across the lifespan. The fellow will conduct research across in vivo mouse models, cell- and tissue-based assays, and advanced molecular techniques, including flow cytometry, spatial transcriptomics, and single-cell sequencing. Projects focus on how macrophage–extracellular matrix interactions govern vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension and how maternal stress signaling pathways predispose offspring to pulmonary vascular disease. The position includes developing laboratory protocols and teaching in connection with laboratory research. The successful candidate will be reliable, personable, highly motivated, and organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively. The position is based onsite in the Research Complex 2 building on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The University offers a comprehensive benefits package for Postdoctoral Fellows. The stated hiring range is $63,480–$69,180.
