About The Position

The Valdivia laboratory specifically investigates microbes that influence human health, focusing on host-pathogen and host-commensal interactions. Their research aims to understand how obligate intracellular bacterial pathogens manipulate host cellular functions and to develop strategies to ameliorate damage caused by these infections, particularly in the female reproductive organs.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).
  • None required.
