About The Position

The Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area (LCCRSF) welcomes applications from law students or recent law graduates interested in pursuing fellowships. LCCRSF, a long-standing civil rights organization, advocates for historically vulnerable communities, immigrants, and refugees through litigation, advocacy, and direct legal support. They are accepting applications for Equal Justice Works (EJW), Skadden, Justice Catalyst, and other external fellowship candidates for placements beginning in Fall 2027. Available program teams include Economic Justice, Racial Justice – Impact Litigation, Immigrant Justice – Direct Services, and Immigrant Justice – Impact Litigation. Applications for EJW, Skadden, and Justice Catalyst fellowships are due by July 15, 2026. Applications for other fellowships are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Requirements

  • Law student or recent law graduate
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer continuously
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to exchange information effectively
