About The Position

QPS, LLC is hiring two Post Doctorate Scientists in its Bioanalytical (GBA) department. This is a two-year temporary position with the potential for a permanent position. The role supports the expansion of QPS’ bioanalytical capabilities for biomarker quantitation and involves independently managing method development and validation studies with minimal supervision. The position is 100% based at a QPS office or facility in Newark, Delaware.

The scientist develops, validates, and runs sensitive, reliable, and efficient LC-(HR)MS/MS assays for TK/PK and biomarker assessment. The role also involves preparing or reviewing study protocols, evaluating data and reporting findings, preparing study summaries or reports, operating and maintaining complex instrumentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance, including adherence to GLP regulations and SOPs. The scientist prepares quality-assurance documents, responds to audit findings, and maintains project schedules and timelines.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Food Science, Plant Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage one or more method development and validation studies at the same time with minimum supervision.
• Prepare, review, and understand study protocols.
• Evaluate the significance of data and report findings.
• Prepare study summaries and/or reports.
• Set up, utilize, and maintain complex instrumentation.
• Maintain the proper level of regulatory compliance for each study.
• Prepare quality-assurance-related documents and address QA audit findings.
• Maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Develop, validate, and run sensitive, reliable, and efficient LC-(HR)MS/MS assays for TK/PK and biomarker assessment.
• Ensure that GLP regulations and SOPs are followed in all bioanalytical service activities.
