About The Position
The Department of Physics, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar for the Farinacci Family Postdoctoral Fellowship in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE). This prestigious fellowship is hosted by the Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering (CQISE) at The Ohio State University. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a record of excellence in one or more core areas of quantum information, such as quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum simulation, quantum networks, or quantum sensing, from either a theoretical or experimental perspective. Under the mentorship of CQISE-affiliated faculty members, the postdoctoral fellow will engage in innovative, collaborative research to strengthen the university's growing quantum ecosystem.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in quantum information science research, either theoretical or experimental.
- Strong collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
Nice To Haves
