The Medina Lab at Emory University is seeking a motivated and creative Postdoctoral Fellow to study the molecular biology of Influenza viruses. The research focuses on understanding viral pathogenesis and host responses using molecular, cellular, and systems biology approaches. The lab is situated within a highly interactive research environment, including the Pathology Advanced Translational Research Unit (PATRU) in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Emory Vaccine Center at the Emory University School of Medicine. This provides access to state-of-the-art facilities, extensive opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations, and a rich network of researchers in virology, immunology, and translational science. The position is ideal for candidates enthusiastic about developing independence while contributing to a collaborative research environment. While prior experience in all listed areas is not required, applicants should possess a strong foundation in at least one relevant discipline and a willingness to learn new techniques.
