About The Position

The Wu laboratory, established in December 2025 at The Wistar Institute, focuses on understanding the phenotypes of HIV-infected cells and their relationship to proviral epigenetics for developing potent and specific latency reversal strategies. These strategies involve the development of HIV DNA-specific approaches with targeted mRNA-LNPs. We are seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to work at the intersection of molecular biology and bioinformatics, utilizing single-cell multiomics to gain a deeper understanding of the epigenetics of the HIV reservoir. The successful candidate will possess experience in T cell immunology, extensive hands-on skills in basic tissue culture and molecular biology techniques (such as PCR, qPCR, ddPCR), and proficiency with next-generation sequencing. Strong expertise in single-cell assays, epigenetic assays, and/or bioinformatics (including familiarity with Unix systems and experience with Python/R) is highly desirable. A PhD in immunology, cell/molecular biology, or bioinformatics is a prerequisite. Candidates must have at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication. Requirements

• PhD in immunology, cell/molecular biology, or bioinformatics.
• Experience with T cell immunology.
• Extensive hands-on skills in basic tissue culture and molecular biology (PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, etc.).
• Experience with next-generation sequencing.
