The Post-Doctoral Fellow position is ideal for an experienced researcher past the post-doctoral stage of their career who is eager to contribute to cutting-edge biomedical research and academic excellence. Responsibilities will include training and managing research associates, residents, and students engaging in basic and translational research, along with organization of the laboratory. Additionally, the Instructor will focus on research studies relevant to the Principal Investigator’s laboratory and provide critical data that results in publications and grant awards that benefit the department and the university. The research will focus on projects studying sepsis, inflammation, and organ injury in large animal models. The Instructor will have autonomy in directing experiments and will have the opportunity to complete independent research projects and apply for appropriate intramural and extramural funding opportunities.
