About The Position

A postdoctoral position in endothelial cell metabolism research is available in the lab of Dr. Boa Kim at UNC Chapel Hill. We study how metabolism and metabolic enzymes in endothelial cells contribute to health and disease by leveraging genetically engineered mouse models, in vitro cell culture with physiological and pathophysiological stimuli, isotope metabolite tracing, metabolomics, and genome-wide crispr screening.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with cell culture work
  • Familiarity with genomics
  • Familiarity with molecular biology
  • Familiarity with mouse work

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in Vascular Biology
  • Prior experience in Vascular Biology is highly desirable, but not required
  • Diverse research backgrounds are welcome
