About The Position

The Division of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics (DPMP) is engaged in research and education in drug delivery options to optimize the therapeutic efficacy of pharmacologically and immunologically active agents. It is a multidisciplinary endeavor requiring knowledge in pharmaceutics, chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, biologics, pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, and biology. This is a post doc position in the Bachelder Lab is in the field of immunoengineering. The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate with a team on formulations and nanoengineered scaffolds for the treatment of cancer, specifically glioblastoma, mentor and oversee graduate students involved in the work, and actively contribute to collaborative efforts across the lab.

Requirements

  • Previous work with cells and/or animal models of immune responses.
  • A strong background in immunology, and/or biomaterials.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay), small animal models, Flow Cytometry, and ELISpot (Enzyme-Linked Immunospot) assays.

Responsibilities
