About The Position

The Department of English and Comparative Literature is recruiting for a Teaching Postdoctoral Fellow. This position provides institutional support to teacher-scholars who have completed a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature before starting the position. Fellows will teach courses for their host department, develop their own research, and participate in professional development activities to help prepare them for the next stage of their career.

Requirements

• Must have completed a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature before starting the position.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience teaching discipline- and genre-based first-year courses, including digital projects and oral communication assignments.
• A record of strong teaching evaluations.
• Engagement in research and scholarship in any area of English and Comparative Literature.
