About The Position

The Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Educator provides strategic leadership throughout the system for clinical education and professional development across inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient rehabilitation, and acute care rehabilitation services. This role designs, implements, and evaluates interdisciplinary education programs to ensure clinical competency, regulatory compliance, evidence-based practice, and excellence in patient outcomes across the rehabilitation continuum.

Requirements

• Require state of Florida licensure in one of the following; Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology.
• Require ten (10) years of experience in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting, with exposure to multiple levels of care.

• Leadership, clinical staff education or professional development experience preferred.
• Prefer expertise in rehabilitation clinical practice and interdisciplinary care.
• Prefer extensive knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design.
• Prefer the ability to translate research into clinical practice and education.
• Prefer strong facilitation, presentation, and curriculum development skills.
• Prefer the ability to analyze clinical data to guide education and performance improvement.
• Prefer extensive knowledge of CARF, Joint Commission, and CMS rehabilitation regulations.
• Prefer strong interdisciplinary collaboration and change management skills.
