About The Position

Mercier Consultancy Group is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Portuguese Speaking Fitbit Customer Support Specialist to join their team on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for Portuguese speaking Fitbit users, assisting them with their wearable fitness technology, health tracking features, and wellness tools. Requirements

• Native or fluent Portuguese language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role — candidates must be able to communicate professionally and effectively in Portuguese at all times.
• Valid EU passport (mandatory requirement for this position).
• Comfortable working in a structured, on-site team environment in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the ability to manage multiple queries efficiently and professionally.

Nice To Haves

• A genuine passion for fitness, wellness, wearable technology, or health-oriented consumer products is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in customer support, technical helpdesk, or a client-facing role is advantageous, though not strictly required — full training will be provided.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent listening skills, and a patient, customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer support to Portuguese speaking Fitbit users via phone, email, and live chat, resolving queries related to fitness tracking, wellness goals, and device functionality.
• Assist customers in setting up, syncing, and troubleshooting their Fitbit devices and the associated Fitbit app across iOS and Android platforms.
• Provide clear, empathetic guidance on Fitbit's health and wellness features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, step counting, and activity goal management.
• Educate customers on how to maximize the benefits of their Fitbit device in support of their personal fitness and wellness journeys.
• Accurately log all customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions within the internal CRM system, maintaining thorough and up-to-date records.
• Escalate complex technical issues or product defects to the appropriate internal teams, ensuring timely follow-up and satisfactory outcomes for customers.
• Stay informed on the latest Fitbit product updates, firmware releases, and Fitness & Wellness trends to provide current and accurate support.
• Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including customer satisfaction scores, response times, and resolution rates.
