About The Position

Portneuf Medical Group, located in picturesque Pocatello, Idaho, is excited to welcome an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to our exceptional Heart Team at the Portneuf Heart & Vascular Institute. We seek a dynamic, motivated professional who is passionate about delivering superior patient care in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Position Overview: First assist in cutting-edge Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeries. Expertise in Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH) required. Admitting service: actively manage and coordinate inpatient care, ensuring continuity from admission to discharge. Collaborate closely with an experienced and supportive team of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, fellow APPs, nurses, and specialists. Join a robust, established team of APPs, ensuring collaborative support and professional growth. Access to the latest technology in cardiac care, including advanced valvular interventions, minimally invasive procedures, and state-of-the-art facilities for ECMO, TAVR, robotic surgery, and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) placement. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Cardiothoracic and Vascular APP experience.
Proficiency with Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH), Radial Artery Harvesting is a Plus!
Active Idaho license or eligibility for licensure.
Certifications in BLS and ACLS (preferred).
