Portfolio Strategy Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
As a Portfolio Strategy Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business by assisting with market research, tracking product performance, and making strategic recommendations that minimize risk and position the company for innovation. You will work directly with senior leaders in Commercial Strategy & Innovation to: Analyze customer intelligence: Explore primary and secondary customer research methodologies and how to apply them in business settings. Gather and analyze market intelligence: Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy. Build compelling strategic recommendations: Synthesize collected information into evidence-based strategic recommendations that direct future actions. Gain experience in healthcare strategy: Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Experience assisting or leading research activities, such as interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis, document review, evaluation, etc.
- Excited about complex healthcare challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
