As an Innovation Strategy Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business by assisting with innovation strategy planning, data collection & analysis, and assessing the competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Experience assisting or leading research activities, such as interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis, document review, evaluation, etc.
- Excited about complex healthcare challenges.
- Solid interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze customer intelligence: Explore primary and secondary customer research methodologies and how to apply them in business settings.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence: Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy.
- Build compelling problem & action statements: Synthesize collected into evidence-based problem statements that direct future actions.
- Gain experience in healthcare strategy: Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish.
