About The Position

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Portfolio Manager to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will oversee growth within a strategic line of business made up of products and services, aligning them with the organizational goals of pipeline generation and client acquisition. Working within the organizational structure and alongside account executives, the Portfolio Manager combines in-depth subject matter expertise with consultative selling methodologies, in concert with long-term strategic planning to secure net-new portfolio growth. Requirements

  • Experience in physical security technology domain to include project and services delivery (gap assessments, maturity models, roadmapping, business case development).
  • Proficiency in executive level presentation development (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills (data synthesis, benchmarking, financial/ROI modeling).
  • Familiarity with security, risk, and technology domains a plus.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including executive presence.
  • Strong collaboration across diverse, fractional teams.
  • Ability to balance responsiveness with accuracy and quality under deadline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Process Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years in physical security technology and/or relevant technology domain, or client-facing program coordination.
  • Prior experience analyzing findings and contributing to executive-level reports strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CPP, PSP, Six Sigma, or other project management/consulting credentials desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate a portfolio strategy to cross sell the technology line of business that incorporates marketing and enablement leading to sales growth.
  • Drive influence to action with internal sales teams and external partners to drive portfolio growth.
  • Establish operating rhythms, track KPIs and manage risks/issues.
  • Lead executive engagement by identifying and engaging client leaders within targeting and deal cycle activities.
  • Leverage consultative sales process expertise to advise on whether to continue, modify or terminate pursuits with clients and technology partners.
  • Drive market research and competitive analysis to align business approach to services and partner growth strategy.
