About The Position

We are seeking a motivated individual that understands the importance of superior client service. This individual will perform advanced and diversified operational duties with a high level of accuracy. The position requires broad experience, skill, and knowledge of organization and department policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree – Business, Finance, or Accounting major preferred.
  • 1-2 years related work experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A high level of professionalism is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented individual with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred.
  • Ability to become proficient on Excel, Access and a variety of other applications.
  • Advanced skills in math.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation and comprehension skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Ability to become SIE, Series 7, 63 & 65 licensed.

Responsibilities

  • Review client investment statements for accuracy and calculate monthly portfolio investment returns.
  • Prepare customized excel spreadsheets for portfolio managers to assist in the overall management of client accounts.
  • Perform advanced word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Assist with trade processing.
  • Duties include running a variety of reports, monitoring accounting activity and reconciling cash, holdings and transactions to outside custodial statements monthly.
  • Respond to telephone calls from clients, consultants, banks, and brokers, requiring knowledge of department’s overall function.
  • May need to explain policies and procedures.
  • Compose routine and/or recurring letters to client, consultants and banks.
  • Compile necessary information for client meeting booklets.
  • Provide support to Department through the timely completion of quarterly and annual reports to clients and consultants.
  • Assist with completion of firm and product updates, and coordinate responses to Request For Proposals (RFPs).
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
