About The Position

Expansion in South Florida and Tampa is driving openings for Portfolio Managers to perform full-cycle underwriting and portfolio management activities with a seasoned coverage team. The role works in a team environment to analyze, underwrite, and present credit recommendations on commercial loan requests and modifications. Analysis includes in-depth reviews of financial statements, tax returns, and relevant credit information. The position manages moderately complex credits and supports assigned client portfolios.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in underwriting and portfolio management within C&I, CRE, or commercial banking.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work well with clients and internal partners.
• Credit analysis background working on new loans and existing portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Proactively administer credit and risk for assigned portfolio accounts.
• Structure, underwrite, and document new business, renewals, and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.
• Provide client management support for assigned portfolio.
• Interact directly with clients on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.
• Engage with relationship managers on progress, issues, and challenges concerning customer relationships or portfolio matters.
• Manage multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules for portfolio maintenance and compliance with credit and risk policies.
• Analyze and present credit recommendations on commercial loan requests and modifications, including review of financial statements, tax returns, and relevant credit information.
