About The Position

IT Weapons, an IT Services Division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to manage and optimize the portfolio of IT services offered to internal and external customers. Reporting to the VP, Solutions Portfolio & Technical Readiness, this role ensures that services are aligned with business goals, deliver value, and are positioned effectively in the market. This position requires the Portfolio Manager to act as the voice of the customer, conducting direct interviews, analyzing win/loss data, and synthesizing industry research to deeply understand the challenges and opportunities in the IT services portfolio. Use these insights to inform product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and service enhancements. The Portfolio Manager will monitor and optimize portfolio performance by tracking KPIs and customer experience metrics, taking data-driven corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and market relevance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of prior product management experience, driving and executing on strategy / 8+ years of other experience that includes marketing and / or business leadership equivalence.
  • Equivalent experience, or a degree in business, marketing, or related field. An advanced degree is desirable.
  • Experience in product management or marketing, preferably in support of professional or managed services.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Strategic mindset with analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Ability to analyze customer data and feedback to drive improvements within the practice and organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively
  • A customer-centric mindset with a deep commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Able to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and service teams
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, categorize, prioritize, and manage IT services portfolio based on business impact, cost, and strategic fit.
  • Ability to optimize a suite of IT services based on customer business value and market demand.
  • Translate customer business needs into service requirements and identify gaps or opportunities.
  • Use KPIs, service metrics, and financial data to guide strategy and improvements.
  • Monitor service performance, quality, availability, and profitability.
  • Understand how services are monetized and how to manage cost-effectiveness.
  • Enable the retention and growth of existing customers by maximizing the value of the services that are delivered to the customer
  • Collaborate with IT leadership, service owners, finance, and business units.
  • Communicate service value and performance to executive stakeholders, sales and service leadership
  • Present service performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership with clarity and impact.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment between IT and go-to-market teams.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine service offerings.
  • Remain current with industry trends and competitor offerings
  • Lead service transitions and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate service descriptions, service entitlements, templates, and SLAs.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and status meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and service enhancement.
  • Track and resolve issues with the service’s design, delivery and pricing
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS models, and emerging tech trends.
  • Quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Propose new service ideas and delivery models that drive business growth.
  • Manage and administer service price calculation tools
  • Identify opportunities to innovate existing solutions, reduce costs and enhance services
