About The Position

This role drives enterprise-wide transformation of Humana’s Ways of Working by shaping and enabling portfolio operating models, ART design, and leadership behaviors across the enterprise. The role partners directly with SVPs, VPs, and senior leaders to influence how portfolios are operationalized, prioritized, and executed to achieve measurable business outcomes. Rather than focusing on ceremony or process adherence, this role is accountable for helping leaders translate transformation strategy into practical, scalable execution—improving alignment, predictability, and value delivery across portfolios and value streams. The Sr. Portfolio Enablement Lead brings deep expertise in organizational transformation, operating model design, and large-scale change, and applies that experience to guide leaders through complex, multi-layered transitions. The role works across one or more portfolios, facilitating critical decision-making sessions, diagnosing systemic delivery challenges, and advising leadership on tradeoffs, flow efficiency, and structural improvements. It plays a key role in evolving portfolio and ART design to support enterprise agility, while fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation. This position may support PI-level planning and high-visibility initiatives, but the emphasis is on enterprise enablement and transformation—not delivery management. The role operates with significant autonomy, exercising judgment within broad frameworks and influencing enterprise standards, practices, and transformation strategy. The Senior Planning & Delivery Enablement role supports the enterprise-wide adoption of Humana Ways of Working by coaching and mentoring Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Scrum teams, and organizational leaders. This role focuses on enabling effective application of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices across portfolios, with an emphasis on practical execution, team-level improvement, and consistent adoption of standards. The Senior enablement role partners with one or more portfolios facilitates working sessions, and provide hands-on guidance to leaders, contractors, and associates in applying Humana Ways of Working in their daily activities. This role helps guide portfolios through transformations and reinforces adherence to established practices, while fostering collaboration, predictability, transparency, and continuous improvement. This role contributes to building a culture of learning and innovation by applying Humana processes and principles and sharing proven practices across teams and portfolios. They may support PI-level planning and execution for high-profile initiatives, providing coaching, facilitation, and real-time enablement to improve delivery outcomes. The Senior Enterprise Planning & Delivery Enablement Lead works under general direction and is expected to independently apply expertise to resolve moderately complex issues. The role exercises judgment within defined frameworks, escalating more complex or enterprise-impacting decisions to Lead-level roles. This position contributes to shaping portfolio-level and ART-level practices, they may provide input into broader enablement strategies.
