About The Position

The Portfolio Company Summer Analyst will be an integral member of the leadership team of an Audax Private Equity portfolio company. The program begins with a formal training week at Audax Private Equity’s Boston, MA office, alongside their Private Equity Summer Analyst program for rising seniors. The Summer Analyst will report directly to an Executive Leader of the portfolio company, with visibility to the CEO/CFO, and will work alongside other senior leaders in the portfolio company's headquarters city. The role involves adding value to businesses by working on operational, financial, and strategic growth initiatives as directed by management and Audax. Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing growth initiatives, identifying cost savings opportunities, analyzing products and end-markets, and working to grow the revenue and profitability of the business. Summer Analysts will have direct and frequent interactions with members of the Audax Private Equity investment team and will present their work to the Audax Private Equity senior team at the end of the summer. This is a unique opportunity for rising juniors to work at a private equity-backed business alongside the C-suite management team, develop a broad range of business skills, work on multiple projects across functional areas, be part of a supportive team culture, gain exposure to private equity investing and business strategy, and be considered for a junior/rising senior year summer internship offer with the Audax Private Equity investment team. The program positions candidates for a full-time, career track role at Audax Private Equity.
