About The Position

Phillips Chevrolet is hiring a part-time Porter to help maintain vehicle inventory and dealership grounds. The role involves cleaning and preparing vehicles, keeping vehicle lots and walkways orderly, and moving vehicles as directed. Candidates should be motivated, follow instructions, have a positive attitude, and be able to work afternoon and evening shifts, including Saturdays. The position averages approximately 25–28 hours per week.

Requirements

Ability to follow directions and instructions.
Clear and valid driver's license.
Positive attitude.
Clean driving record.
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Clean the interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles and maintain their appearance and performance.
Replenish vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Clean the driveway and sidewalks.
Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
Make key tags for vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
