About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a housekeeper to help maintain a safe and clean community for residents, associates, and visitors. The role includes laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, as well as maintaining resident apartments and shared spaces. The scheduled shift is Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 PM–7:30 PM. Requirements

• Understand practices for the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned resident apartments on the supervisor’s schedule, including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Vacuum exposed areas thoroughly, including edges.
• Empty and rinse wastebaskets when necessary.
• Wash the inside of windows as needed.
• Clean common areas, including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units.
• Clean other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor.
• Keep the laundry room clean and orderly.
• Store chemicals according to product instructions or supervisor direction.
• Launder towels, bed linens, and resident laundry.
