About The Position
BronxWorks helps individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. From toddlers to seniors, we feed, shelter, teach, and support our neighbors to build a stronger community. BronxWorks Afterschool aims to help young people build skills to support their academic achievement, raise their confidence and cultivate their leadership skills through service learning and other civic engagement opportunities.
Requirements
- One to two years building maintenance experience
- Proficiency in English required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in a second language preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with beautification work as necessary
- Perform groundwork to ensure facility surrounding is free of hazards and/or debris.
- Replenish restroom supplies and ensure restrooms are sanitized hourly.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, clean windows, sanitation etc. regularly and as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
