About The Position
Murray's Collision Group has been part of the Puget Sound community since 1984. We are a family owned company with multiple locations across the greater Seattle area, known for quality repairs and a shop culture that takes care of its people. Our Fix Auto Port Orchard and CARSTAR Port Orchard locations are looking for a reliable Porter to keep vehicles and customers moving throughout the repair process. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including manual transmissions, for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a self-starter attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in collision repair or auto detailing is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles, including trips to customer locations
- Port vehicles between departments to keep technicians and estimators on schedule
- Perform pre-washes and help the Detailer prep vehicles for customer delivery
- Vacuum, wipe down, and clean vehicle interiors and windows
- Help maintain a clean, safe parking lot and shop facility
- Secure and lock all vehicles at the end of each day
- Occasionally assist with light scratch buffing and trim or cosmetic part installation
