About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter at Napleton Elmhurst Acura/KIA. The Porter performs a variety of duties related to vehicle upkeep, including maintaining vehicles’ cleanliness and appearance, keeping them ready for display, and transporting vehicles and customers. The position also supports lot and showroom readiness, customer deliveries, vehicle storage, and dealership property maintenance. Other functions and special projects may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles on the lot and in the showroom are clean and in good repair.
• Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Perform other functions and special projects as assigned.
