About The Position
The Porter maintains hallways, the clubhouse, and other common areas, and completes cleaning necessary for turnover units and guest suites. The role supports satisfactory cash flow, positive resident relations, and resident retention. The position also involves completing maintenance work orders and apartment repairs, preparing apartments for new residents, maintaining grounds and curb appeal, painting, cleaning, general property maintenance, and seasonal duties such as snow removal and property safety. The Porter provides customer service to residents and helps keep the community safe and well maintained. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; participation in an on-call rotation is required.
Requirements
- Enjoy hands-on work and problem solving.
- Be dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Have basic knowledge of hand tools and general repairs.
- Be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
