About The Position

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a full-time Porter at Lincoln Ristorante in New York, New York. The Porter receives, maintains, and stores front- and back-of-house restaurant supplies, and steps into other kitchen roles as needed to support the team. Lincoln Ristorante offers an elevated Italian dining experience featuring seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and attentive service in an elegant setting.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Basic math skills, including the ability to work with units of measure, fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and draw and interpret bar graphs.
No experience or diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

One to three months of previous stock clerk, steward, or related experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor deliveries, analyze invoices, and inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition; report faulty or incorrect deliveries immediately.
Properly rotate food and beverage products.
Receive, open, unpack, and stock new or transferred restaurant supplies in their appropriate locations.
Maintain a receiving log by tracking deliveries and missing items.
Take inventory to identify items that need to be reordered or replenished.
Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas, and ensure kitchen and dining room equipment is clean, sanitary, and in good repair.
Step into other kitchen roles as needed to support the team's success.
