About The Position

Responsible for coordinating and controlling all area of porter services. Supervises personnel in Porter Department. Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all area of the Casino public and office areas.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Position requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. This is normally acquired through a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent and two to four years of administrative experience.
  • Must have proven ability to manage multiple priorities and inspire and elevate an individual or a team's performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising all phases of the Porter Department.
  • Adheres to the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals.
  • Supervises porter personnel. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and discipline porter staff.
  • Suggests procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
  • Assists with the investigation and resolution of employee and guest concerns.
  • Enforces all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participates in departmental brainstorming sessions.
  • Completes Human Resources paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.
