About The Position

The Tipton Group is hiring a Porter/Make Ready to join its apartment maintenance team in Eusless, Texas. The role helps prepare apartment homes for new residents and supports the upkeep and appearance of the community. The Porter/Make Ready works with maintenance and property management teams to provide service to residents. The position includes participation in the property's on-call rotation. Requirements

At least 1 year of make-ready, groundskeeping, apartment maintenance, or similar experience.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
Ability to provide and use your own basic tools.
Professional and courteous when interacting with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Complete apartment turnovers and make-readies for new residents.
Perform painting, touch-ups, and general repairs.
Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and preventative maintenance.
Inspect vacant units and help ensure apartments are move-in ready.
Assist with grounds upkeep, including trash pickup and light landscaping.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the property.
Respond to maintenance needs as part of the property's on-call rotation.
Work with the maintenance and property management teams to provide excellent service to residents.
