About The Position

This position is responsible for performing general building maintenance and cleaning both interior and exterior as required.
Requirements
- Must have basic English oral, written and communication skills.
- Skilled in preventive maintenance measures and trouble shooting.
- Organized and efficient in time management skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Capable of following all required SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety programs.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of general building maintenance.
- A combination of vocational training, education and experience that is equivalent to the employment standards listed above and provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Operate Floor Scrubber for production and warehouse floors as required.
- Clean and polish all furniture and fixtures.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of exterior building perimeter.
- Clean, wash or paint building walls as required.
- Remove rubbish from all trash containers throughout building including office receptacles.
- Maintain and sanitize all building bathroom/rest areas.
- Supply and Service Quality Control area
- Daily checks of all office and bathroom lighting
- Assist Building Maintenance Technicians as requested with preventive and corrective maintenance issues.
- Daily check for operational plumbing
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
