About The Position

The Day Porter maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during business hours. The role focuses on high-traffic areas, responding to immediate cleaning needs, and keeping restrooms, common spaces, and entryways presentable throughout the day. The position pays $17.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the day.
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Monitor restrooms and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
Clean spills, fingerprints, smudges, and debris as needed.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings.
Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events as requested.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to a supervisor.
Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff and visitors.
