Gold Certified Porsche Service Technician/Mechanic
About The Position
The Gold Certified Technician is the technical leader of the shop, handling the most complex work, setting the standard for quality, and bringing the depth of expertise that only a small number of Porsche technicians in the country can claim. This role involves diagnosing and repairing Porsche vehicles across a full range of systems using Porsche diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures, executing repairs to factory specifications with speed and accuracy, and completing repair orders accurately. The technician will also stay current on technical service bulletins and updates, perform test drives to validate repairs, and maintain a clean and organized workstation. The position contributes to a shop culture where technical excellence and craftsmanship are the baseline.
Requirements
- Porsche Gold certification -- required
- Expert-level diagnostic capability across the full Porsche lineup -- including advanced electrical, ADAS, hybrid/EV systems, and complex multi-system failures
- PIWIS diagnostic platform -- deep proficiency required
- Extensive PDCC, PASM, PDK, and air suspension system experience
- Porsche factory training completion across all applicable modules
- Consistently low comeback rate and a quality standard that reflects Gold-level certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Porsche vehicles across a full range of systems -- engine, transmission, brakes, advanced electrical, suspension, PASM, PDK, and beyond -- using Porsche diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures
- Execute repairs to Porsche factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and zero shortcuts
- Complete repair orders accurately -- documenting all work performed, parts used, and labor with precision
- Stay current on Porsche technical service bulletins, PIWIS updates, and evolving repair procedures
- Perform test drives to validate diagnostic conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation that reflects the standard of the Porsche brand
- Contribute to a shop culture where technical excellence and craftsmanship are the baseline
