About The Position

The Cashier Lead is a key member of the store team, primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests. The role works in a service-focused environment and supports daily cashiering, food and beverage merchandising, inventory accuracy, reporting, and team operations. The position may also involve other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Computer and POS knowledge required.
Cash-handling skills required.
Merchandising and stocking experience required.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

Four or more years of cashier experience preferred.
Register audits and safe-counting experience preferred.
A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

Serve customers courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant, and enthusiastic attitude.
Process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) register.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area.
Order, receive, and unload products.
Stock, organize, and rotate merchandise on planograms.
Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Complete end-of-day reporting, including register audits and safe counts.
Assist with creating and managing the team’s schedule.
Train lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities.
Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members or customers.
Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
