At STEM From Dance, we envision a world where innovation flows from every community, where our greatest challenges are solved by the brightest minds from every background, and where our economy thrives on the full spectrum of human creativity and ingenuity. To this end, our mission is to ignite creativity and confidence in future innovators, equipping them with skills to thrive in STEM through the transformative power of dance. America faces a critical STEM talent shortage. With over one million STEM jobs projected in the next decade—more than any other industry—we cannot afford to leave any brilliant mind behind. Yet traditional STEM education fails to engage countless students who possess the creativity, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking that drive breakthrough discoveries. We meet students where they are—through the power of dance—and show them where they can go. By fusing STEM concepts with creative expression, we create learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop the next generation of innovators our economy desperately needs. STEM From Dance ignites creativity and confidence in future innovators, equipping them with skills to thrive in STEM through the transformative power of dance. As a Pop Up Dance Facilitator, you will play a key role in leading dynamic, high-energy, one-day workshops that integrate dance and STEM concepts. Pop Ups are designed to engage students in movement-based learning experiences that spark creativity, confidence, and curiosity. You will work alongside a STEM Facilitator to co-lead activities that demonstrate the power of combining dance with technology. Your role will be to lead students through dance instruction, choreography, and creative movement while fostering an inclusive and inspiring learning environment. This is a part-time, event-based position. Pop Up events are scheduled throughout the year, and work hours will align with the timing of these events. You will be called upon to work on days when Pop Ups are booked, with advance notice provided for all scheduled events. This role is ideal for dance educators, choreographers, and teaching artists who are passionate about interdisciplinary learning and can create engaging and culturally responsive movement experiences.
