About The Position

The Pool Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to members and guests at the pool snack bar. This role prepares and serves food and beverages, processes transactions, and maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area. The ideal candidate delivers excellent hospitality while supporting a safe and enjoyable poolside dining experience.

Requirements

Previous food service or customer service experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Valid Food Handler certification required within 30 days of hire date.
Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Seasonal position running from June 2 through September 7, 2026.
Background check and drug screen required

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and serve snack bar menu items such as sandwiches, hot dogs, pretzels, chips, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process member charges and payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar, prep areas, and surrounding service space.
Restock food items, condiments, paper goods, and beverages as needed.
Monitor food quality and ensure proper food safety and handling procedures are followed.
Assist with opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning, and inventory checks.
Communicate with kitchen, pool, and leadership to ensure smooth service.
Dispose of trash and maintain the cleanliness of the snack bar service area.
Provide attentive service to ensure a positive member experience.
