About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and member-focused Pool Snack Bar Server to join our pool team. This role is responsible for serving food and beverages to members and guests from our poolside snack bar, providing a welcoming and attentive experience that reflects the standards of a premier private club. The ideal candidate is personable and efficient behind the counter, takes initiative in keeping the pool deck clean and inviting, and takes pride in building genuine relationships with our membership. The Club at Rolling Hills is nestled into South Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Our wonderful facilities and beautiful front range location make the Club one of the premier private Clubs in the Denver Metro area. While the setting is outstanding, the pride and joy of our Club is our membership and staff. The right candidate must maintain a cheerful attitude and always present themselves in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Candidates of legal serving age must hold a valid alcohol service certification (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS, or Smart Serve) prior to first day of work. Candidates under legal serving age will coordinate alcohol delivery with the bartender on duty.
  • 1–2 years of food and beverage service experience.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk the pool deck in warm and sunny conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency with POS systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, balance counter service with deck maintenance, and anticipate member needs throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a private club, country club, or upscale hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with private club operations, member relations, and service standards.
  • Experience in a counter service, snack bar, or outdoor food and beverage role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests by name when possible, take food and beverage orders at the snack bar counter, and serve items accurately and promptly.
  • During slower periods, walk the pool deck to offer tableside service, clear trash and reusables from pool tables, and ensure the area remains clean and welcoming.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all snack bar offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials, to provide informed recommendations.
  • Keep the snack bar and surrounding service area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
  • Monitor the pool deck for used dishes, glassware, and trash, and clear tables promptly to maintain a tidy environment for all members.
  • Accurately process member charges and guest payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Take beverage orders from members and guests and coordinate with the bartender for alcohol service as needed.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Provide members and guests with friendly information about Club amenities and upcoming events to enhance their overall Club experience.
  • Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and applicable liquor regulations at all times.
