About The Position

This role supports passionate front and back of house team members to provide our guests with great and fun R&B experiences. We bring life to our House, radiate enthusiasm in the kitchens and blast music through the speakers. Those who are a people’s person, warm-hearted and sharp and quick on your feet will enjoy the role.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the basic functions of food & beverage operations.
  • Working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation and proper chemical usage.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to handle money and make correct change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak a second language.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that workstation is set up and clean at all the times.
  • Keep pool chairs and tables neatly arranged, clean and clear of debris.
  • Take customer food and beverage orders.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage in order to service and up-sell our product, including liquors and cocktails.
  • Ensure that all silverware and glasses are wiped and spotless.
  • Mark tickets appropriately for food orders.
  • Enter all sales in POS system without errors. Double check list of items before submitting.
  • Make sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
  • Ensure that food is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Verify guest satisfaction with each table.
  • Anticipate guest needs.
  • Wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming.
  • At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to rules.
  • Adhere to all the opening and closing duties.
  • Adhere to all cash handling policies.
  • Attend daily pre shift/communication meeting.
  • Generate a good atmosphere
  • Bring all necessary towels out to the pool area and place them neatly on the towel table with ends facing the bar and color coordinated. Towels are to be placed neatly on the towel stand.
  • Provide guests with towel, chair and umbrella service.
  • Check all trash bins and empty towel bins.
  • Any other duties assigned by Supervisor. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
