About The Position

Eilan Hotel and Spa is hiring a Seasonal Part-Time Server for the Pool Operations. As a Seasonal Server, you would be responsible for serving food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to our owners and visitors while also providing the highest level of customer service. Acquire knowledge and service of menu items and beverage brands as well as cocktail recipes, varieties of beer and wines, soda, water, sugars, and other prepared beverages. Performs in accordance with all state regulations regarding alcohol service and consumption. Guests should be promptly provided with hot and cold food as needed. Follow all Steps of Service including, but not limited to greeting/welcoming guests, upselling, establishing rapport, serving, pre-bussing, thanking guests, and inviting guests back. Collect payment for food and drink served at the pool grill area. Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to enforce to health standards. Keep the area in and around the bar grill clean and free of clutter. Full knowledge of Micros and end-of-shift reports. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Carries out all reasonable requests by management. We now offer Daily Pay and Safe food handling and Alcohol Safety Awareness Certification will be provided by the company.

Requirements

1-year previous bartending/serving experience in a hospitality environment.
High school Diploma/equivalent.

Nice To Haves

1+ year previous bartending/serving experience in a hospitality environment.
Alcohol Awareness Certification.
Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

Serving food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to guests.
Providing the highest level of customer service.

Performing in accordance with all state regulations regarding alcohol service and consumption.
Promptly providing guests with hot and cold food.
Following all Steps of Service (greeting, upselling, rapport building, serving, pre-bussing, thanking, inviting back).
Collecting payment for food and drink served at the pool grill area.
Performing general cleaning tasks to enforce health standards.
Keeping the area around the bar grill clean and free of clutter.
Demonstrating full knowledge of Micros and end-of-shift reports.
Maintaining regular attendance.
Carrying out all reasonable requests by management.
